To honour Mother's Day many seagulls and geese are already sitting and hatching. Luckily there is no nest under the juniper. One geese couple has settled rather close, though fortunately on the other side of the nearby birch. I provoked their suspicion but no serious defense reactions. While standing by the juniper it was nice to notice how occasional uproars among the seagulls were not caused by me, but rather by territorial scraps between them. The juniper seems already big and secure, something to seek shelter by. And in case of emergency there is always the shelter for bird watching.
