Grey sky, grey sea, wet. After the storm there is a border of rubbish on the shore, which displayes how far the wawes have were reached. The water level is sill high, but the waves are smooth now.
I search in my my mind for the words of Antonio Negri (Art and Multitude 2011), who proposes a jouney in three stages towards a style of artistic production which can be envisaged for today. In his view the first stage involves an immersion into the infinite movement of bodies and events which surround us, from images of life to expressions of knowledge. The second stage is reflexive and presents itself as the moment of the recognition of the common. And the third, well, the first two stages are enough of a challenge for me at the moment. - This was my last visit to the juniper this year, according to the western calendar. The year of the rabbit, however, continues through January. I am leaving for a holiday trip to look for light and warmth and will return only at Epiphany. Meanwhile I will try to find something resembling a juniper to spend some time with.
