Tomorrow, Sunday 27th February you will not find me next to the Juniper; I am still traveling. On Monday 28th, however, at 3 pm you are most welcome to have tea by the Juniper. Look for a thermos is in the bird shed!
Jäniksen vuonna, sunnuntaisin kello 15, alkaen 6. helmikuuta, vietän hetken katajan kanssa, joka sijaitsee Harakan saarella, lähellä ns. lintupiiloa ja kuvaan tuon hetken videolle. Tervetuloa ihmettelemään maiseman muutoksia! / During the year of the rabbit on Sundays at 3 PM, starting on the 6th of February, I will spend a moment with a juniper on the island of Harakka, next to the shed used for bird watching and video film that moment. Veistosleikki - Sculpture play
Olla valokuvattavana katajan kanssa tyynessä talvisäässä - ja muuttua veistokseksi! Videokamera ei näe yhtä tarkasti, se vain todistaa. Lauantaina ohikulkijoita on vähemmän, ei teevieraita, mutta hienoja kuvia syntyi. Tässä kaksi niistä:
To be photographed with a juniper on a windless winter day - and turn into a sculpture! A video camera does not see as clearly, it only witnesses. On Saturday the passers-by are fewer, no visitors for tea; but nice images were created. Here are two of them:

Poikkeusaikoja - Exceptional times
Vierailen katajan luona poikkeuksellisesti lauantaina 19.2. (en sunnuntaina 20.2.) ja maanantaina 28.2 (en sunnuntaina 27.2.) lomamatkan takia. Tosin kataja on varmaan paikalla myös sunnuntaina... Tapaamisiin!

Kylmää ja kaunista - Cold and beautiful
Pakkasessa, sormet kohmeessa, katajaa on hankalaa pitää kädestä. Kylmä tekee tunnottomaksi. Tällä kertaa paikalla oli teevieras todistajana ja pari ohikulkijaakin ihmettelemässä mitä oli tekeillä. Kataja on puoliksi hautautunut kinokseen, mutta varjot alkavat sinertää ja hanki hohtaa.
In the cold, with freezing fingers, it is hard to hold hands with a juniper. The cold makes you numb. This time there was a tea guest as witness, and a few passers-by, too, wondering at what was going on. The juniper is half covered by snow, but the shadows are turning bluish and the snow is shining.

Jään yli katajan luo - Across the ice to the Juniper
Sunnuntaina 13.2. klo 15 vierailen jälleen katajan luona, tervetuloa mukaan. Tuuli liikuttelee lunta jäällä, mutta reitti saareen on selkeä. Ramppi laiturille on suljettu, seuraa polkua rannalle ja jatka viittojen kohdalla vasemmalle luontopolun suuntaan. Tapaamisiin lintukatoksen luona!
On Sunday 13.2. at 3 PM I will visit the Juniper once more, you are welcome to join us. The wind blows the snow on the ice, but the path to the island is clear. The ramp up to the pier is closed, follow the path to the shore and when you see the signs continue in the direction of "luontopolku", nature path. See you by the bird shed!
