Many seagulls have already their young walking around and they are really hard to distinguish on the cliffs. Only the screams tell you that something fragile and downy is moving nearby. Some kind of combat had taken place under the juniper since sticks and pieces of brushwood were lying around in a strange manner. At the crossroads where I video film the bird shed a seagull lady still sits hatching and Mr Seagull is even more nervous than before. I held a stick high above my head while trying to focus the camera and was scared when the stick was hit by wings several times. Perhaps the horizon in the image is a bit slanting. - Occasional visitors and photographers have normally not cared much for tea, but today Virpi, who dared walk the nature path with me using a flowery umbrella as protection against the birds, sipped happily her tea while photographing a whole series of pictures.
