Wonderful peace, the birds have vanished. The seagulls are somewhere searching food and the few geese are strutting around reticent. The rain showers have cleaned the cliffs of bird droppings, the island is a pleasant place again. It looks strangely autumnal, since the goldenrods have withered and spread their seeds. The Juniper looks reasonable healthy, full of berries. Nehind it on the cliff is a small beird's skeleton that looks like a heap of sticks. If a human being and a banana have 60 percent of their genes in common, it is no wonder that a bird and a branch of a juniper look alike when drying.
